Helt Real Estate Update - January 2019

For the last few years, I have been reading the commentary and overviews that the various Real Estate Brokerages and Agents publish when the Monthly Real Estate Figures are released. Each time, I was less than impressed with the lack of transparency around the actual trends and missed opportunity to tie the data points together into a holistic view. Far too often, Agents and Brokerages just report the headlines and then parade this around all month, misleading their audience. So, to kick off 2019, I have decided to start publishing my own overview of the key stats for the various areas that I cover (Toronto, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton etc.) with a brief but useful (in my opinion) overview of what is happening.
